Can I skip an obstacle? (What if I cannot complete an obstacle? What if I cannot swim?)

It is fine if you want to skip an obstacle. The way we see it, you are there to have fun and get a real sense of achievement at the end. If you think a particular obstacle isn’t going to do this for you, just go around it. However, if you are skipping an obstacle just to improve your time, then we think you are only cheating yourself. You paid to do the course – why not actually do it?

For those who are participating in the competitive category you must complete all the obstacles. A 5 minute time penalty will be given for each obstacle a competitive athlete skips. You may skip any obstacle you are uncomfortable with.

There are life jackets available at any deep water activities.

How do we deal with cheaters?

If any participant is caught cheating or purposely cutting the course they will beescorted to the finish line.  This is a working farm and the course has been set in safe areas.

Skipping an obstacles is not considered cheating. Please see the above question “Can I skip an obstacle” for more information.

What if I am sick or injured during the course? And where can I find help?

There are several volunteer first aid attendants around the course and you will be taken care of. Please speak to an event official on event day if you want to know more information about where they will be located.
